[debian-non-standard] debian on asus wl-500w

Hi, I have read the article
http://wpkg.org/Running_Debian_on_ASUS_WL-500W wich suprised me,
because it shows the posibility of running kernel 2.6 with broadcom
4321 (asus wl500w wifi) and the driver isn't ported due the
imposibility of getting the source code.
Is the article correct? How they could get the broadcom 4321 driver
for kernel 2.6?
