Valerio's point is valid. This mode makes no sense. The data is still available on other nodes due to either erasure or pure copies, and sheepdog will fetch from the correct nodes due to the way hashing is handled. You are adding a single point of failure (the SAN), and taking a reduction in performance (all sheepdog nodes contending for SAN bandwidth) for a case that sheepdog already handles gracefully.

In this model,if node1 down,whether can /media/nas/node1 be loaded within other node online and guest can still access the data in /media/nas/node1 existed.
