Were you using -c 2 or -c 3?  If you were using -c 3, the cluster should continue to operate in degraded mode.  If you were using -c 2, the cluster will have to go through a rebalancing recovery to bring all vdis back up to two copies.  Performance will be degraded until that recovery is finished.
