I forgot to mention I'm using Sheepdog daemon version 0.8.2.
This is what I get:
ls -lh /var/lib/sheepdog/sheep.log*
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 0 ago 31 06:25 /var/lib/sheepdog/sheep.log
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 228K set 3 10:14 /var/lib/sheepdog/sheep.log.1
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 0 ago 17 06:25 /var/lib/sheepdog/sheep.log.2
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 18M ago 30 10:20 /var/lib/sheepdog/sheep.log.3
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 0 ago 3 06:25 /var/lib/sheepdog/sheep.log.4
It should rotate every week but it doesn't if the file is empty.

Correct me if I'm wrong: sheep doesn't rotate sheep.log by itself, right?
In the man I didn't read anything about file rotation.
Notice I'm not using the --log option, so sheep is using its default
parameters.
