<div class="gmail_extra">please try 'netstat -nltp' to see if qemu-nbd is listening at port 10809. if yes, then you can use nbd clients to import the image as local block storage on your machine. qemu-nbd is not design to run as a daemon so it won't fork and return to shell. you just have to put & at the end of your command to make it run as a background.</div>
