Do some research. We developed a project named "cloudxy", whose main web
is http://code.google.com/p/cloudxy/ .  It has two subsystems, HLFS and ECMS.
HLFS is like Sheepdog, which combined HDFS(Hadoop FS) and
LFS(Log-structured FS).
We also realized snapshot feather on HLFS. I just want to contrast
them for my snapshot
paper here (http://code.google.com/p/paperxy/). You can see this paper
for yourself.
