[sheepdog] node identifier in cluster and data placement

Hello. I have may be simple question. How sheepdog decide where to
find data for specific qemu request?
More description - as i see current node identifier depends on ip
address (ipv4 mainly).
If i have a working node with data, reboot it and start with new ip
address does data becomes available when node join to cluster? Or it
drop they data and resync?
