I have retested tgt-20071227 with the TCP_NODELAY patch on an 1GB/s IB network with a RAM disk target. For realistic block transfer sizes (<= 64 KB) latency is unchanged and throughput improved slightly (5% for reads and 9% for writes). Bart Van Assche. |
