You're right, it looks like this was added in 1.0.7 with the --bsoflags 
switch.

Barring that, it seems that it would be safe to force O_DIRECT on in the RHEL 
6 version (1.0.4-3.el6) of stgt, do you agree?

Should I file a bug somewhere then, or are these versions too old to care
