Please reply using this URL only: http://bugs.wpkg.org/show_bug.cgi?id=64 Summary: Package-name (and other info) in logon-messages Product: WPKG installer Version: 0.90 Platform: PC OS/Version: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P2 Component: WPKG installer AssignedTo: mangoo at mch.one.pl ReportedBy: jens.geile at mzbs.de QAContact: wpkg-users at lists.wpkg.org It would be nice if there was a way to tell the person sitting in front of the computer waiting for the software installation to finish WHICH software is currently being install. What we need would be two variables or something we could use in "logon- message-1" for example. Something like $package-name and $package-id or something like that. The corresponding logon-message-1 line could look like this: <logon-message-1>WPKG is installing $package-name...</logon-message-1> Another nice variable to have would be $remaining or something like that, telling me (or the user) how many packages are left to be installed. The variable would need to be updated after a package has successfully been installed of course. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.wpkg.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the QA contact for the bug, or are watching the QA contact. _______________________________________________ wpkg-users mailing list wpkg-users at lists.wpkg.org http://lists.wpkg.org/mailman/listinfo/wpkg-users |
