Where was a wpkg installation with srvany.exe, by which (via wpkginst.xml
package) the wpkg client should have been installed automatically as system
user. As this didn't work, I've tried to install using settings.xml as domain
admin, did not work. After manually installing wpkg client 1.0 rc2 as domain
admin and importing settings.xml, the service has been created and wpkg works
as expected.
