[wpkg-users] Writing info back to the database

Hello all, 

Last week I sent a patch to bugzilla
http://bugs.wpkg.org/show_bug.cgi?id=61, which writes the list of
installed packages + versions to the database. Has anyone already looked
at it?

The next thing I intend to do is to write logging records back to the
database [instead of | in addition to] the local event log. Do you out
there think that would be useful?
