What I meant was that if log rotation (using the code I provided was provided)
then the default should be changed to append instead of overwrite for the log
file. Yes, using config.xml for the size would make sense with a default size
already defined.

I also noticed that the logging does not include seconds in the time stamp
which would be nice. And it logs installation of dependencies even when there
are no dependencies.

I am now trying to figure out to add a line at the beginning and end of the log
file each time wpkg is run. This would say something like the following with a
blank line (new line) at the beginning so that it is easy to find the
start/stop time when you run wpkg.
