[wpkg-users] Instead of SAMBA/Active Directory can we use any other method for central sharing Server in WPKG

There is a package download patch:

http://bugzilla.wpkg.org/show_bug.cgi?id=23

But it has some missing bits and pieces (read: doesn't work, but 90% is 
done and should be easy to correct).

Feel free to improve it (really - if you know any programming/scripting 
language, it shouldn't be that hard).
