http://bugzilla.wpkg.org/show_bug.cgi?id=106 --- Comment #10 from Rainer Meier <r.meier at wpkg.org> 2008-04-09 20:49:03 --- I just did a quick test on my VMWare test installation and I experienced the same behavior. I know Tomasz claims VMWare is not supported, but I never experienced different behavior than I would expect from a "real" machine. As soon as I use the "logon delay" feature just the window named "WPKG Software Deployment" shows up and waits for the maximum timeout to expire. No WPKG window or any other visible activity shows up on the screen. After waiting for the timeout I even don't see any of the WPKG client event log entries - simply nothing. The show GUI option was turned on within the configuration of WPKG client. Well, currently I just have to recommend NOT to use the logon delay feature - regardless of the "offline mode" state. On my testbed the delay feature just causes to wait for timeout and prevents the WPKG service to do anything. Using WPKG client version 1.2.0 (final, non-RC) -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.wpkg.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the QA contact for the bug. |
