This often causes headaches to me as well ;-) You might read the uninstall code from the registry - see HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall However I hate that method - and some applications seem to change this code on each release - so you have to find it again. For example AcrobatReader is changing it on each release/update (contains the version number). Therefore I recommend another way. Just use msiexec /x path\to\software.msi /qn Instead of the product code you specify the MSI package you used to install the package. br, Rainer |
