http://bugzilla.wpkg.org/show_bug.cgi?id=109 Tomasz Chmielewski <mangoo at wpkg.org> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- CC| |mangoo at wpkg.org --- Comment #1 from Tomasz Chmielewski <mangoo at wpkg.org> 2008-04-21 23:10:51 --- This also happened for me with the 0.x versions of WPKG and a full Event Log. Although AFAIR, I think WPKG was "hanging" then, not crashing. It was relatively easy to trigger - just start copy/xcopy/robocopy/rsync which outputs to STDOUT, and everything was logged in the Event Log. With more files copied, Event Log was full any you wondered what's going on... Side note: as I remember, some more applications were malfunctioning with Event Log full (it wasn't WPKG's fault this time, but something spamming the Event Log with information related to http://support.microsoft.com/?scid=kb%3Ben-us%3B896358&x=11&y=10 ): - it was not possible to uninstall some applications any more (i.e., Microsoft Office) - manually, from Control Panel - VNC server didn't allow to log in any more - there were some windows indicating a problem with (I don't remember)... click to send to Microsoft... etc. So, a full Event Log can be a dangerous thing ;) -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.wpkg.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the QA contact for the bug. |
