http://bugzilla.wpkg.org/show_bug.cgi?id=110 Rainer Meier <r.meier at wpkg.org> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Status|ASSIGNED |RESOLVED Resolution| |FIXED --- Comment #2 from Rainer Meier <r.meier at wpkg.org> 2008-04-21 23:32:15 --- I investigated and found that the feature works exactly as expected. Users have to remember that setting the 'quiet' flag to 'false' causes WPKG to write to STDOUT - and not to event log. So event log will stay empty. That's why /quiet was usually added to the command line switch by WPKG client. For WPKG 1.x I recommend only using the /synchronize switch in WPKG client and enabling quiet mode in config.xml. However if you forget to do so, then WPKG will write all information (info, warning, error, debug) to STDOUT which is actually not shown to the user (unless "show GUI" is enabled within WPKG client) as the WPKG execution windows is hidden when executing as a service. So I am setting this bug to "FIXED" as it works exactly as specified. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.wpkg.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the QA contact for the bug. |
