Hi, > Coming back to your problem - it would be good to know what the server (i.e., Samba) logs say about it - and why it denies a connection. Without it, I'm afraid I can't help much. As promised, here are is a tcpdump log of a working and a non-working attempt. Open the file with wireshark (http://www.wireshark.org/). It starts with the PXE call of the client, installs the wpkg settings update, restarts, pxe again and then doesn't start wpkg. As can be seen in the logfile there is no communication between the client and the server when the error appears in the log: Ereignistyp: Fehler Ereignisquelle: WpkgService Ereigniskategorie: Keine Ereigniskennung: 1 Datum: 19.12.2008 Zeit: 15:08:51 Benutzer: Nicht zutreffend Computer: TEST-RECHNER2 Beschreibung: WNetAddConnection2-> Zugriff verweigert So it appears that there really is something on the client that isn't working. What it is I have no idea though. :/ - jens -------------- next part -------------- A non-text attachment was scrubbed...
