OK, this is a simple cosmetics change. I think I can include that without increasing the risk of introducing any new bug. > http://bugzilla.wpkg.org/show_bug.cgi?id=103 - 'Handling absence of > config.xml' says: > > By default, wpkg.js exits silently without any info > if the config.xml file isn't found > > Last time I tried, wpkg.js did work without config.xml - am I misreading > anything? Right, WPKG should work completely without config.xml. I will have to analyze this report. Especially I will check if meaningful information is printed in case config.xml is not found at all. The initialization phase (and especially logging during this phase) is quite complex and there is risk to introduce bad "side-effects" when quickly changing some logging there. So I will take it seriously and analyze it. So if you prefer the first patch (quotation) can be included and RC8 can be prepared. The second one I cannot tell yet if it requires any change. However we can also regard it as a "feature enhancement" and introduce the fix in 1.1 milestone release later on. I will probably find some time this evening to check the second issue. |
