Isn't communication between wpkg.js and WPKG Client using the registry better? 

Then, it would be independent of the flags used (/debug, /quiet etc.).


Other than that, I also don't think a "time parameter" is a good idea.


I have software which can install between 1-1.5 hours, but only a couple of
minutes when doing an upgrade. Should we have a separate time parameter for
install and upgrade commands?

And what about remove commands? It also can take some time?

This bug is a bit related to bug 64 (Package-name (and other info) in
logon-messages).

Perhaps a better idea would be an info like:

Processing package 4 of 10...

?
