http://bugzilla.wpkg.org/show_bug.cgi?id=126 Summary: Only run WPKG Service after Unattended Setup is done (optional) Product: WPKG Client Version: unspecified Platform: PC OS/Version: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P4 Component: WPKG Client AssignedTo: mangoo at wpkg.org ReportedBy: jens.geile at mzbs.de QAContact: wpkg-users at lists.wpkg.org More and more often I run into a strange problem where Unattended installs my systems just fine but for some reason I always get auto-loggedin into the administrator account. This strangely does not happen on all systems. I strongly suspect (without having any solid proof at this moment) that this happens because WPKG service is running and the system cannot be rebooted because of this. I'm installing WPKG Client through a "[_meta] bottom =" entry so after the next reboot WPKG would already start installing software even though Unattended is not done installing and configuring the system. What I'd like to see is a switch in WPKG Client that tells WPKG to only run _AFTER_ Unattended is fully done. Checking whether Unattended is done could be done by checking for the existence of "%SYSTEMDRIVE%\netinst\todo.txt". This issue is kinda urgent though. >.> -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.wpkg.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the QA contact for the bug. |
