Add profile/hosts environment processing to remove actions

Attaching a patch that adds support for profile/hosts environment variables to
the 'remove' actions. I'm not sure if this is the proper way to handle this,
since I basically copied the try/catch/finally from the installPackage()
function.

I created the patch ignoring white space, to make it easier to read (and
smaller).
