The PC reboots in a loop because of the reboot flag at Acrobat Reader in the packages.xml > A "check" argument is defined. You have some wrong check/package. On XP and later, WPKG Client should prevent the workstation from rebooting in a loop, by allowing only 5 reboots (here, reboot is initiated by WPKG Client). On 2000, there is no such possibility - JScript is allowed to reboot the workstation before WPKG Client is able to do anything. > The installation dialog even runs if there is no package to install configured in the packages.xml. > > What am I doing wrong? The installation dialog displayed by WPKG Client is always displayed, if you use logon delay. If nothing is installed, only for a brief time, as WPKG checks if there are any things to be installed - which can take a few seconds time as well. -- Tomasz Chmielewski http://wpkg.org |
