Well you're right. However I am not sure how to handle this. Usually an
appendix to the version number indicates an updated version. In this case 'rc'
should be read as "release" candidate which is removed after release.

So I am not sure how to programmatically differentiate between the following
cases
> A         B
> "1.35rc3" "1.35"
> "1.35p1"  "1.35"

In the first case B should be newer, in the second case A should be newer if
"p" is a kind of "patch update". I fear that there is no way to solve such
conflicts in any case without WPKG to know the "meaning" of the characters
used.

Any suggestions?
