This is great news: the test suite runs without error,
great THANK YOU to Rainer again.

I have to admit, that the test3_cmdsetup testsuite had the wrong separators,
but this IHMO shows lack of documentation - when searching for "comspec"
at http://wpkg.org, I get COMSPEC example with "/" separator at:

# Packages.xml (17,369 bytes)
220: ...of executing a command interpreter is to use the %comspec% environment
variable, not specifying cmd.exe exp...
229: <install cmd="%comspec% /c copy %SOFTWARE%/file.dll %WINDIR%" />

leading to
http://wpkg.org/Packages.xml#Actions

which has to be corrected then.

I've checked in some more complex dependancies in wpkg-test/test1_dependencies,
which are running seamlessly now, too.

So I think that Bug 145 can be closed.
