[wpkg-users] How does check work with upgrades please

Good so far then :)

So I now increase revision number.

wpkg sees the revision increase and jumps straight to the upgrade commands
(just ignores the check statement and assumes the upgrade is needed due to
the revision increase)
On completion of the upgrade commands(and assuming no errors reported) -
wpkg runs the check command and if check=true then assumes package is
installed correctly.
