[wpkg-users] Bandwidth Limiting

Thanks everyone,

We do indeed have local file servers and a DFS name which points to the appropriate local server. That's not an issue. The best solution seems to be a way to limit concurrent downloads. I can't think of a way to do that with WPKG right now that would take into account whether a computer is currently online to receive the update or not. WGet doesn't come with Windows by default and I'm not sure if it can be used to grab files from a network share. Even if it was, there's no way to tell what limit to give it. As for the Samba solution (which was later denied as a solution) all of our servers run off of Windows. (Well, not all, but the relevant network shares at least.) Maybe at the beginning modify a text file with the amount of users currently downloading the update and at the end decrease that number?
