[wpkg-users] Windows 7 64 bit client 1.3.9-x64.msi WPKG Service will not start

Hi,

Unfortunately I've not been able to get this working for my Win7 clients.

Instead I'm currently running a simple login script that checks the OS. If
it returns a Win7 machine then it runs the following command and exits:

cscript \\server\wpkg\wpkg.js /synchronize /quiet

If it returns an XP client then it checks to see if the WPKG client is
already installed, runs the client install if it isn't and then exits.

I've played around a bit with wpkg-gp but I'm not yet confident that it's
stable enough to introduce into production.

successfully, and the test button works after using the fqdn of the server.

The Service will not start. I am getting error 1067: the service terminated
unexpectedly. The error message from the application log follows.

Has anyone been able to get WPKG to work under 64 bit Windows 7? What else
should I be trying?

Also, we run a Samba 3 NTLM Domain. Does this mean that WPKG-GP will not
work on our Win 7 machines?
