I plan to release version 1.2.1 very soon if there are no critical issues found 
with it and no features requested to be included.

You might also just download wpkg.js from the link provided. Open wpkg.js with 
your favorite text editor. The topmost line shall read "var WPKG_VERSION = 
<version>" for the latest checkin from yesterday night (or today very early 
morning) shall read "1.2.1-RC7". See
