Rainer,
I was just thinking - instead of having everybody throw in a ton of batch
files, I think it makes sense to be able to (easily) keep all the details
together in the recipe.
The inheritance makes that a lot easier, but how about being able to define
other stanzas such <cleanup> or <shared> that could be called using the
inheritance scheme?
One example would be the Visual C++ Runtime 2008 which litters the root of C
with files as part of the install, so it would make sense to have a <cleanup>
task that both the <install> and <remove> stanzas would be able to pull in in
addition to their either tasks.
If you want me to raise a new feature request instead of commenting here, just
let me know.
