Hi Rainer,
yes, I have replaced the old "name" attribute with the new "hostname"
attribute, so it is all good now.
How about adding a deprecated message to the log file, if the old "name"
attribute is used?
Something like:

The "name" attribute is deprecated in WPKG 1.3.0 and will be removed in WPKG
x.x.x
Use the new "hostname" and/or "ip" attribute instead.

This will make users aware of it being dangerous and allow them to migrate to
the new attributes.
In my case three machines have had important software removed, but it could
have been twenty too.
