In my career I have always tried to follow the principle to change as
less as possible and to keep as close as possible to the OOTB
configuration, since this has always proved to result in the least headache.
In fact I am only changing the log level, since regular installations
don't need to be so verbose.
If an installation fails, then a debug session will bring all the
problems to your attention.
