Hi Paul,

In the past I've used runaspc (http://www.robotronic.de/runasspcEn.html) to embed admin credentials for running a specific file - might work for you.

Cheers Jon

Subject: [wpkg-users] Command line how to set a program to always run as admin ?

Hi,
Does anyone know a way to set a program to be able to always runs as administrator as an ‘install’ command in WPKG.
I’ve got a program that happily installs by WPKG but it has to be registered by the user post install and although I’ve set modify permission to the program folder it says the software has failed to register and asks to be run as administrator.
Thanks in advance
Paul
