A big "thank you" to the person that created a silent installer for Classic Shell and put it in the Wiki at <http://wpkg.org/Classic_Shell>! A side note for non-English versions: When installing manually, it's possible to switch languages by downloading an additional language file. Further, even after an automated update with the WPKG package, it's still necessary to download and install a new language file when an administrator logs in. Does anybody know whether it's OK to simply copy the corresponding new language DLL file into the program directory with an additional install/upgrade command? Comments in the package imply that there are still open topics/improvements to tackle. Maybe someone can help, if the problems can be described somewhat more detailed? BTW: Shouldn't this useful package configuration be included into the list of silent installers at <http://wpkg.org/Category:Silent_Installers>? Best regards, Frank -- Frank Morawietz |
