Hi all,<BR> <BR>I've been using WPKG for many years now, though on a small scale in relation to the number of applications being controlled by it, normally around 10 in total on each device.<BR> <BR>We are looking at our options for software deployment on a larger scale, across 130-160 wired computers and 30-60 wireless (54g on Trapeze/managed wireless) laptops.<BR> <BR>Our application count will potentially exceed 75 on each device - I am concerned that the overhead of WPKG processing the checks for all of these during start up of the computer will have a detrimental affect on how quickly a computer (more specifically the wireless laptops) will get to the login screen from power-up.<BR> <BR>Am I right to be concerned about this or not? We'd be running a full GBit network to desktop, and wireless is handled by Trapeze which has blanket coverage throughout our site (a school).<BR> <BR>I have been investigating the use of System Center Configuration Manager 2012, however so far I am finding the application deployment unreliable, so switching to a known solution (wpkg) has a strong appeal.<BR> <BR>Thanks for any reply.<BR> <BR>Chris<BR> </div></body>
