        <pre>One further observation;

This only seems to affect the uninstall check of programs under the

"HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall" location. We have

not seen any failures of this check for programs located in the

"HKLM\Software\Wow6432Node\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall"

location. I'm not sure if this is relevant or not.
