My plan in the near future:

 - Rebase the object reclaim patches.
   http://lists.wpkg.org/pipermail/sheepdog/2013-May/009503.html

 - Remove a master completely from cluster drivers and simplify the
   join process.

 - Create a benchmark script which can test various scenarios
(e.g. I/O performance during object recovery). This is necessary to
   detect performance degradation.

In longer term:

 - Refactor recovery.c to improve I/O performance during object
   recovery.

 - Add support for rejoining to cluster after a timeout.

 - Make shepherd a distributed system to remove a SPOF.

 - Add support for hierarchical zones to use Sheepdog in multiple
   regions.

Thanks,

Kazutaka
