[Sheepdog] Openstack: is sheepdog support limited to volumes?

Hi all,

IFAIK libvirt and qemu both support the creation of virtual machines
which have boot disk stored on a sheepdog cluster.
I've beek checking openstack's wiki for sheepdog's related information.
I've found a configuration example:
http://docs.openstack.org/cactus/openstack-compute/admin/content/sample-nova-configuration-files.html
and this blueprint page:
http://wiki.openstack.org/SheepdogSupport

Both pages are just about volumes management.
It seems it's not possible to boot a vm on a nova-compute node while
storing it's disk on a sheepdog cluster: am I wrong?

Thanks
Giuseppe
