from users point of view, both stgt and iet provide a networked storage
service (stgt can provide more). just like people can compare NFS,
SAMBA, FTP performance with same HW, and choose the best one base on
feature and performance, why people can not compare same protocol and
different implementation solutions?
many people on iet list might want to decide whether to immigrate to
stgt once it is stable. they of course have interest to know how it
performs compared with the solution currently under use.
