We've used dm-multipath only on the initiator side so far, so I just
want to make sure: usually, when I add a device to a target (using
tgtadm), I use something like /dev/sdX. Can I do something like the
following?
tgtadm --lld iscsi --op new --mode logicalunit --tid 1 --lun 1 -b /dev/dm0
If it's ok and you can also set a preferred path, this could be good enough.
Another question - did you actually try to run tgt with dm devices? Did
you face any problems?
Thanks,
