One possibility:  sometimes you find a setup program that copies files to a temp 
location on the local machine, calls a copy of itself, and then terminates.  The 
result is that the setup program appears finished even though the installation is 
still in progress.  See the discussion from 5/14/2007 with subject "silent install 
for latest Autodesk products" for a solution.
