[wpkg-users] searching for documentation

Can someone point me to documentation that explains the format and options for config.xml? Particularly, I'd like to know how to configure wpkg to search a URL for the packages.xml (host.xml and profiles too i guess). Are there any specific variables available for use in the settings.xml file or can we just make up anything we need?
