[wpkg-users] prblem with WPKG client 1.2.1

I am having an issue with WPKG Client 1.2.1. It installs OK and I import my settings.xml ok. when i restart the wpkg service i get a few event logs that seem to be OK - but then it fails with: 
Script Execution: failure. exit code: 1. 

here are the event log entries preceeding it (each is an individual entry): 
- WPKG Service->RegisterServiceCtrlHandler: successfully done 
- WPKG Service->SERVICE_START_PENDING: successfully done 
- ServiceStart 
- Set script security context: successfuly done. 
- Script Execution: failure. exit code: 1
