The version I'm currently using is 1.0-RC5 but I don't think this matters at
all. I think you misread something.

The reboot isn't initialized by WPKG but by the uninstaller of one software,
WinSCP4 to be precise. I simply forgot to specify the /NOREBOOT parameter in
the uninstall command. But since the reboot is initialized by a software WPKG
has no chance of saving the local wpkg.xml (which is actually remote in my
case).
