I did not have time yet to read through the whole issue again but sounds like
lots of effort which I cannot afford at the moment.

Anybody still thinks (taking into consideration the latest changes in WPKG
<http://wpkg.svn.sourceforge.net/viewvc/wpkg/wpkg/stable/1.0/wpkg.js?view=log>)
a change is required?

If yes, please describe again what _exact_ change for which purpose (including
use-case example) you think it's required.
