           Summary: New execute type
           Product: WPKG
           Version: 1.1.x-M
          Platform: PC
        OS/Version: Windows XP
            Status: NEW
          Severity: enhancement
          Priority: P2
         Component: wpkg.js
        AssignedTo: mangoo at wpkg.org
        ReportedBy: jens.geile at support.iserv.eu
         QAContact: wpkg-users at lists.wpkg.org

I was pretty sure that i had already posted it on either the mailing list or
the bugtracker before but was unable to find it.

So here goes again:

I have written a little script that automagically cleans the startmenu from all
those useless default windows shortcuts and also of empty folders that are
sometimes left after uninstalling certain pieces of software. The downside of
this script is that its rather slow as it performs a multitude of commands.
The script was set to execute="always" and because of this ppl complained to me
that they cant log-in into the workstations for the entire login-delay duration
i set in WPKG Client.

What I seem to need is a new kind value for the execute parameter called
"changed" (or something similar) that has the effect that the package only gets
processed if any other package before has been installed, updated or
uninstalled.

With this the cleanup package wouldnt run most of the time and only be executed
if another package changed. This should keep my startmenus clean and also not
annoy the users as much.
