Thanks to Lawrence's great support, I managed to make it work.
First of all, as you need a NS entry , this doesn't work with a free
account from noip.com. But you can get two subdomains from afraid.org
and create a NS entry from one to the other one.
For example:
some.thing.xy
tunsome.thing.xy
NS entry:
tunsome.thing.xy NS some.thing.xy
Forward Port 53 UDP to your iodine-server. Now set up iodine:
iodined 192.168.99.1 tunsome.thing.xy -P yourpassword
(There comes an init-Skript with the package from Ubuntu, which works
nicely.)
Now go to http://code.kryo.se/iodine/check-it/
and enter your tunnel-dyndns-domain: tunsome.thing.xy
This should work, else something has gone wrong.
For permant usage, you should
- use an init-skript
- set ddclient or anything else update your dyndns entries.
- install a client, like iodine or andiodine for android.
Have fun and enjoy free internet!
Greetings
MPW
