Hi sheepdog users,
This is an announcement of iSCSI support by sheepdog. tgt, a de-facto
standard of OSS iSCSI target, is now supporting sheepdog as its
backing store ( https://github.com/fujita/tgt ). So you can attach
VDIs created on your sheepdog cluster to virtual machines other than
QEMU and operating systems running on baremetal hardware if they
provide iSCSI initiator.
An instruction of setting up the iSCSI feature is here:
https://github.com/sheepdog/sheepdog/wiki/General-protocol-support-(iSCSI-and-NBD)
Thanks,
Hitoshi
