I fixed a typo:

dog vdi read myvdi $((2048**4*12)) $((204800*512)) | gzip -c >
/media/nas/myvdi_sda1.img.gz

dog vdi read myvdi $((2048*512)) $((204800*512)) | gzip -c >
/media/nas/myvdi_sda1.img.gz
